I wanted to achieve a stamped style aesthetic with overlapping colors and outlines to showcase the imperfection of life; we do not always stay within the lines. Utilizing an eye trace, we follow similar colors and shapes that drive the narrative forward to the next scene. I also wanted an opportunity to build and morph shapes on screen, which can be seen in the transition from scene 1 to scene 2. In search for the perfect music bed, I found that building it myself was the best answer. I produced the sound design in GarageBand with a nostalgic feel from outdoor soundscapes over a lofi backdrop.
